The UCF Women’s Soccer team returned to its dominating fashion on Sunday, beating the East Carolina Pirates 4-0.

UCF (5-1-1, 1-0-1 AAC) was extremely active the duration of the game, constantly putting pressure on the Pirates’ defense.

Senior Kayla Adamek assisted by Dina Orschmann scored the first goal of the game.

Within the next five minutes, Adamek struck again, scoring the second goal of the game. Orschman may not have had the assist the second time around, but she did have the following goal.

At this point, the Pirates had managed to make one save in net. This put the Knights up 3-0 at the end of the first half.

At the start of the second half, Orschmann scored another goal in the first two minutes, giving UCF a 4-0 lead.

After multiple substitutions and a couple of saves by UCF, the Knights ended the game and won their first conference game of the year.

Tying Cincinnati in the conference opener earlier this week, the Knights are still fighting to stay in the top-25.

They’ll host the Tulsa Hurricanes on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
