
For those counting down to another season of UCF Men’s Basketball, there is now an official date to look forward to, as the program announced its 2017-18 schedule on Friday morning.
The Knights open up their season at CFE Arena on Nov. 10 against Mercer. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. The schedule also includes the AdvoCare Invitational, which takes place during Thanksgiving weekend. UCF opens up play on Nov. 23 against Nebraska at 6 p.m.
The Knights will play back-to-back SEC games, hosting Missouri at 9 p.m on Nov. 30 before hitting the road to face Alabama at 2 p.m. on Dec. 3.
Conference play gets underway on Dec. 27 when UCF travels to SMU to face the defending AAC champions. Other marquee conference matchups for the Knights include AAC newcomer Wichita State (away on Jan. 25, home on March 1) and in-state rival USF (away on Jan. 20, home on Feb. 14).
Overall, the schedule consists of 16 games at CFE Arena. The Knights reached the NIT Final Four last season in their first season under coach Johnny Dawkins.
