For the second straight season, the UCF Volleyball team has captured the AAC Championship. The Knights, who hosted the tournament, took down Cincinnati 3-2 to remain on top of the conference. UCF also earned an auto bid to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season.

The Knights had an excellent year under coach Todd Dagenais, going 24-7 with a 14-2 conference record. Hosting the conference tournament was a huge advantage for the team, which went 14-3 on its home court this season.

This will be the second straight year that UCF will be making an NCAA Tournament appearance. The Knights fell in the first round to FGCU 3-2 to end last season.

The volleyball team has been one of UCF’s most consistent squads over the last few years. The Knights have not suffered a losing season since 2015, and have won at least 20 games in each of the last four campaigns.

UCF will find out its seeding and first round opponent on Dec. 1.
