McClain is the former Seminole High quarterback who played QB for USF last year. But he entered the transfer portal hours after Bulls coach Jeff Scott named Baylor transfer Gerry Bohanon the starting quarterback.
Now, McClain is part of the Knights’ football team and one of the growing list of UCF’s “hometown heroes.”
